When did you start playing soccer?
I started playing when I was four years old. My father was a soccer player and couple of uncles played professionally, so it was kind of a family thing. I was always around soccer.
What team did you follow as a kid?
Soccer wise, I always liked Manchester United and Barcelona, but I have always been a New York Giants and New York Yankees fan as well.
When you are not playing, what do you do?
I know a lot of the guys will be surprised by this, but I like to read a lot. I also like to watch movies, hang out. Just basically do things to relax.
If you could change places with one person, who would it be and why?
I would have to say Tiger Woods. Just to see what it would be like to be him for day, to see the difference. For the golf as well as his celebrity.
What were your favorite subjects in school growing up?
Science was a big favorite of mine, as well as history. I was not good at math. My history teacher, Mr. O’Riordan, was also my soccer coach at Monsignor McClancy.
What kind of music do you listen to on your iPod?
I listen to everything. All types. Lately, I have been listening to a lot of classic rock, but I like rap, a little reggae. The last song I heard today was Disturbia by Rihanna. That’s a pretty cool tune.
What is the last movie you saw?
The last movie I saw was The Dark Knight. I can do a pretty good Joker impression.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I have always liked that book.
Do you have any pets?
No, I have always wanted a lab, but we never had one since we were always traveling a lot.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I had always wanted to be a soccer player, but at one point when I was younger I wanted to be an architect.
Can you play any instruments?
I can play the drums, but I am also trying to learn to play the guitar. I have been getting better, but I have a long way to go.
